We’ve Got Your Ticket to Fly

On this day in 1964, four lads from Liverpool arrived in America for the first time.

Three thousand screaming fans were waiting for The Beatles as they arrived for their appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show and three concerts to follow. An estimated 73 million Americans tuned in to the Ed Sullivan broadcast and 20,000 fans were in attendance at the first concert at the Coliseum in Washington DC. The following two concerts took place at New York City’s Carnegie Hall and police were forced to close off the streets around the musical hall because of fan hysteria.

There is no doubt that when John Lennon and Paul McCartney got together, magic happened. The Lennon-McCartney dynamic duo was just simply unstoppable when they locked in their talent together. And to think…they were only songwriting partners for 6 years! Not too bad when there are 1.6 billion Beatles singles sold in the US, over 600 million Beatles albums sold worldwide, and 1,278 weeks spent hanging around on the Billboard charts. It’s been over 50 years since they burst on the global scene and they are still relevant today.

Here at Marker/iHAMMS, we can be YOUR Dynamic Duo combining Loyalty Program and Frequent Flyer Program management services.

While The Beatles may have your ticket to ride,

Marker/iHAMMS has your ticket to fly…and we so care!
